A simple, flexible way to inspect your company vehicles

The DAVIS Driver App now includes a Vehicle Inspection feature exclusively available for DAVIS Fleet users. Drivers will carry out the inspection remotely and managers receive instant images, notes and the location from the inspection took place.

Fleet Managers can now create and schedule vehicle inspections and manage defects with DAVIS Fleet. The DAVIS vehicle inspection format is entirely customisable to ensure your drivers are only ever asked relevant questions about their vehicle status. Data is transferred instantly into the Defect Management dashboard within DAVIS Fleet for greater insight into your fleet vehicles.

Drivers can now carry out vehicle inspections digitally through the DAVIS Driver App, eliminating the need for spreadsheets and paper-based methods. Drivers are notified to complete a vehicle walkaround using their smartphone and have the option to upload images, and add notes to report on any defects. This data is instantly transferred into DAVIS.

Vehicle Inspections

Drivers can complete walkaround checks of their vehicle using the DAVIS Driver App, by answering a series of fully customisable questions. If the driver reports an issue, they're able to add notes or upload a photo and these are received by the fleet manager. Each vehicle inspection contains an e-signature and, if enabled, the location and number of steps taken during the inspection are visible by the manager too.

Vehicle statuses

Custom statuses can be created, but we offer off road, in garage and live as standard. Vehicles with off road or in garage statuses won't receive inspection reminders
